LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A proposed ordinance by the City of North Las Vegas is aiming to increase public safety; however, in order to do that, the new guidelines would ban homeless encampments.
The proposed ordinance follows suit with other local jurisdictions like Clark County and the City of Las Vegas, which already have similar acts in place, which makes public homeless encampments a misdemeanor..
