LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – At a campaign event announcing the launch of his bid for governor, Nevada Democratic Attorney General Aaron Ford offered his condolences to the family of a Las Vegas man killed by a police officer.
The family of Brandon Durham has called on Ford, who is in his second term as attorney general, to investigate the death.

Durham was killed inside his home last November by Las Vegas Metro Police officer Alexander Bookman after Durham called 911 to report an intruder. A Clark County grand jury last week declined to indict the officer on a second-degree murder charge.
Ford launched his bid for governor at the East Las Vegas Community Center on Monday. In a video posted on YouTube, he said, “I’ve worked with law enforcement to protect our communities.”…
