LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The City of North Las Vegas, in collaboration with Mayor Pro Tem Scott Black, Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick, and the Southern Nevada Health District, hosted the “Ride the Wave Back to School Pool Party” at the Silver Mesa Recreation Center Pool on Saturday.
The free, family-friendly event aimed to bring the community together for a final summer celebration before the school year begins. Attendees enjoyed swimming, live music from KCEP’s NotaboiDJ, bike raffles, games, and received free school supplies while they lasted.
Scott Black says, “This is our 7th Annual Ride the Wave Back to School Swim Party. We’re gonna have over 600 to 1000 people here. We’re giving away over 700 backpacks. We have some amazing community partners.”…
