LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Officers are investigating a deputy-involved shooting that left one person dead Tuesday morning in Amargosa Valley, around 88 miles away from Las Vegas.
Just before 10 a.m., an officer responded to a report of a possibly suicidal person in Amargosa Valley, according to the Nye County Sheriff’s Office. When the officer arrived, the individual allegedly charged at them with a large knife.
NCSO said the officer opened fire, hitting the suspect, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The officer was not injured…
