LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A search is underway in California for a Las Vegas woman after her belongings were found on a beach Wednesday night.
According to a news release from the U.S. Coast Guard, 30-year-old Ashanta Ayana Elise Cobb-McNeil’s phone, shoes, wallet, and passport were found in the sand near the Venice Beach Pier. Her loved ones told authorities that she sometimes goes by Loni Legend.
After being contacted by Los Angeles Police Department, the Coast Guard launched a search in the surrounding waters while police coordinated searches on land.
