The City of North Las Vegas is set to honor the latest group of individuals who have turned the phrase “I AM POSSIBLE” into a personal mantra of recovery and rehabilitation. These graduates are emerging from a distinctive 30-day substance abuse program at the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center, aimed at presenting them with the foundational tools necessary for a better path after their release.
The graduation ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow, Aug. 13 at 9 a.m. and will take place at the North Las Vegas Municipal Court. Each of the graduates has navigated through what is, as per city’s announcement, a committed process to address substance abuse issues. The initiative is not merely a program but symbolizes a culmination of hard-won progress made by each participant in the face of their respective challenges.
Launched in 2021 through the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Grant Program, “I AM POSSIBLE” stands as the first program of its kind within Nevada’s municipal jails.
