LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two people are in critical condition after being struck by an alleged hit-and-run driver Tuesday night.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan police, the crash at the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Pecos Road was reported shortly after 11 p.m.
Police said two women and a man were crossing Pecos in a marked crosswalk against the pedestrian signal when an 80-year-old driver struck all three. Two of the people hit were critically injured and transported to Sunrise Hospital. The third person was treated and released from the hospital.

The driver, identified as Rafi Neressian, did not stay at the scene. Police said he was later arrested at his address. He is facing three charges of failing to stay at the scene of a crash. Records show he is scheduled to make an initial appearance in the Las Vegas Justice Court on Thursday…
