LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A company well-known for insuring military and their veterans responded Thursday to an 8 News Now Investigation about a homeowner and his nearly two-year struggle to get paid on his claim and return to living in his west valley home.
USAA, through its public relations and media director, originally said Thursday morning that it was “not contacted to verify the details you presented, nor provided an opportunity to comment” on an 8 News Now Investigation into claims made by Daxton Lyon.
Lyon, a Marine Corps veteran, said a water pipe burst along the wall and ceiling of his kitchen, destroying much of the first and second floors and making the home largely uninhabitable…
