Ellis Island, an off-Strip casino-hotel in Las Vegas, has unveiled the first phase of its $35 million expansion and renovation project just in time for the Labor Day weekend influx. Known for its affordable drinks, good food, and low table minimums, the casino has nearly doubled its gaming area. The new space features a 25-seat center bar beneath a large LED screen, a redesigned high-limit slot area, and a permanent home for Boomer’s Sportsbook. Additionally, the building’s exterior now boasts an impressive digital facade.

The casino aims to retain its value-driven approach, which has made it popular among locals and industry workers.
