Las Vegas police use new ‘grappler’ tool to disable fleeing car during chase

Newly released aerial video shows Las Vegas authorities using a new tool known as a “Grappler” to disable a car driven by a suspected carjacker during a police chase last month.

The incident occurred Aug. 18 after the suspect allegedly carjacked his ex-girlfriend by pushing her out of her vehicle, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
