Las Vegas will be offering a nice change of pace for locals and visitors alike with two free Saturday outdoor concerts in the month of September at the Centennial Hills Park Amphitheatre. Located at 7101 N. Buffalo Drive, the venue is opening its space for a variety of musical experiences, ensuring there’s something to suit everyone’s taste buds – musically speaking, of course.

According to a Las Vegas government release, this “little big band” hails from Southern California and offers a mix of classic swing music laced with contemporary pop influences. The band, co-founded by saxophonist Marco Palos back in 2002, is known for their electrifying performances, which have earned them spots at Disney Parks and alongside artists like Christina Aguilera and the Jonas Brothers.
For those leaning towards the theatrical and a touch of drama, “An Encore Evening with the Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber” on September 27 provides just the right setting. A performance by the International Opera Institute, it features noted Metropolitan Opera artists Rose Kingsley and Allan Glassman, led by conductor Gregory Buchalter. Expect to hear renditions of hits from “Cats,” “Evita,” “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “Phantom of the Opera,” and more…
