Man convicted in heat-related death of Reba the bulldog learns sentence

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The man convicted in the animal cruelty death of an English Bulldog named Reba learned his sentence on Wednesday.

Isaac Laushal Jr. was sentenced to 16 to 48 months in prison, with credit for time already served.

Laushal, along with Markeisha Foster, left Reba in a sealed bin behind a business near Maryland Parkway and Twain in July of 2024, on a day where the high temperature exceeded 110 degrees. Reba was rushed to the vet immediately after being found but died from the effects of the heat the next day…
