LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — With the remnants of Tropical Storm Mario potentially bringing wet weather to the region this week, the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) is urging residents and businesses to turn off their landscape irrigation systems through the weekend.
The National Weather Service in Las Vegas forecasts a chance of showers between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday, with a reduced chance of precipitation in the afternoon and evening.
Showers and thunderstorms are also possible throughout Friday afternoon and evening, followed by a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday after 11 a.m. Overnight temperatures are expected to remain in the mid-to-low 70s through the weekend…
