Opportunity Village has opened its doors for their annual HallOVeen at the Magical Forest, a family-friendly Halloween event that raises funds to support programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The seasonal celebration is located at 6300 W. Oakey Blvd. and runs through Nov. 2. Opportunity Village’s HallOVeen transforms the Magical Forest into a whimsical Halloween wonderland with spooky trees and festive decorations that feature themed attractions, rides, and entertainment across the nonprofit’s 2.5 acre park. All proceeds directly benefit Opportunity Village’s youth and student services and employment, habilitation, and arts programs for individuals with disabilities throughout Las Vegas and southern Nevada.
“We go to their Christmas event every year. It’s always been such a warm and welcoming environment for the family and kids, so we wanted to check this one out,” said Melissa Landon, a Las Vegas local. “The kids love wearing their costumes and running around. We have beer, and it all goes to a good cause. Everyone’s happy.”…
