Las Vegas mom honors late son with toy drive for domestic violence survivors

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A mother who lost her son just weeks after giving birth is putting on a toy drive to help families in need.

This is the fourth year of the toy drive. Dalyn Htet says her son Zeya would have turned five this December. She is hosting the toy drive in his honor and donating all of the toys to Safe Nest, a local nonprofit supporting survivors of domestic violence and families in crisis.

Once the toy donations are given to Safe Nest, the families the nonprofit works with can then “shop” from the donations for their kids…
