LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas attorney charged with running a $460 million Ponzi scheme pleaded guilty Thursday to federal charges after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors.
Court records show Matthew Beasley entered his guilty plea to five counts of wire fraud before Judge Jennifer Dorsey in the U.S. District Court for Nevada.
Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 28. Beasley and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Nevada agreed to a sentence of 12 to 20 years in prison, plus restitution for victims, per a copy of his plea deal filed last week…
