LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Many SNAP recipients hunted for help Monday in search of food, but for some, it proved harder than they anticipated. 8 News Now followed along with some of the recipients, stopping by multiple food banks across the valley.
Several people showed up to City Impact on Sahara, but they aren’t open on Mondays. We also stopped by Lutheran Social Services of Nevada on Boulder Highway, who had their doors locked with a sign that read “Due to funding and staffing, we will be closed until further notice.”
