The complex incident began when a Ford F150, driven by 62-year-old Brian Young of Las Vegas, shifted towards the middle lane, colliding with a RAM 1500, operated by 56-year-old William McCord, also of Las Vegas. The RAM then hit a Freightliner truck with a trailer, driven by 26-year-old Armando Diaz-Contreras of Henderson, Nevada, before veering onto the sidewalk and striking a 43-year-old male pedestrian, who has not been named pending notification of next of kin.
