Police Investigate Suspected Murder-Suicide Involving Stabbing in Northwest Las Vegas Home

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is currently investigating a tragic occurrence in northwest Las Vegas. Authorities were called to a residence on Tuesday afternoon after receiving a distressing 911 call around 4:15 p.m., as reported by News 3 Las Vegas. Upon entering the home at the 10700 block of Attleboro Park Avenue, near Cliff Shadows Parkway and Alexander Road, a woman conducting a welfare check found the lifeless bodies of two individuals and immediately contacted the police.

Responding officers from the Northwest Area Command discovered a man and, a woman with what appeared to be stab wounds. According to 8 News Now, police had been alerted by a concerned family member who had gone to check on the occupants. The preliminary assessment by detectives suggests a heartbreaking narrative: the woman, in her late 20s, was allegedly fatally stabbed by the man, in his mid-50s, who is believed to have then turned the weapon on himself in a murder-suicide.
