Argument leads to deadly shooting in southeast Las Vegas, police say

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — One man is dead and another man is in police custody following a shooting in southeast Las Vegas.

The shooting was reported around 1:15 a.m. in the 4100 block of S. Sandhill Road near E. Flamingo Road. The intersection, west of I-11/U.S. 95, is closed to traffic while police collected evidence at the scene, which took about seven hours.

Lt. Robert Price with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said a man had left a business in Sandhill Square when he got into an argument with the suspect, who pulled out a gun and shot him.

Officers found the shooting victim in the parking lot and were able to locate the suspect and arrest him…
