Tupac murder trial delayed until next summer

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A judge has rescheduled the trial for the man accused of orchestrating the murder of Tupac Shakur for next summer.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis, 62, faces a murder charge for the rap icon’s 1996 shooting death. Davis has remained in custody since his arrest in September 2023.

Clark County District Court Judge Carli Kierny has postponed the trial several times at the request of Davis’ attorneys. Over the summer, Davis hired new attorneys to represent him. In August, those attorneys said they believed they would be prepared for trial in February.
