Pregnant Las Vegas Woman Killed After Boyfriend Allegedly Barrels Into Row of Cars at 100 mph: Police

The family of a pregnant Las Vegas woman is mourning her death after she was killed in a high-speed crash in which her 19-year-old boyfriend allegedly drove into a row of stopped cars at more than 100 mph.

The collision happened in the mid-afternoon on Nov. 18 and claimed the lives of 20-year-old Adilene Duran and 38-year-old Edward Garcia, who was driving another vehicle.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the crash occurred when a silver 2011 Infiniti G37, allegedly driven by Duran’s boyfriend, 19-year-old Jose Gutierrez, struck a line of vehicles stopped at a red light at the intersection of Cheyenne Avenue and Jones Boulevard in the northwest valley…
