Search Intensifies for Missing New York Man in Nevada Desert near Red Rock Canyon

The search for Eugene Gragg, a 34-year-old New York man who went missing in Nevada, is ramping up, with local authorities and volunteers combining efforts to comb the desert west of Red Rock Canyon. Gragg last made contact on November 16, and officials have since been trying to piece together his whereabouts, as reported by Channel 13.

Last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, Gragg has distinctive tattoos, including boxing gloves in the shape of a heart on his neck and a baby elephant on his shoulder. Despite the efforts to thoroughly search Lovell Canyon and the surrounding areas, where Gragg was last believed to be located, his current location remains elusive. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has been involved since November 21, according to News 3LV.

Gragg’s disappearance has been described by family and friends as extremely out of character. He had no known plans to visit Las Vegas or mental health issues that might explain his absence. His last digital trace, recorded by the Find My Friends app, was at Rainbow Mountain Wilderness Preserve west of Las Vegas.
