CCSD police to boost school zone traffic safety after 4 students hit, killed this school year

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County School District Police Department announced Friday it received a grant to help reduce student injuries.

Since the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, more than 180 students have been hit by vehicles while traveling to or from school, resulting in four fatalities.
