LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Sunrise Health Systems Hospitals donated nearly 3,000 pounds of food to local food banks in an effort to help combat childhood food insecurity across Southern Nevada.
The system of hospitals, which includes Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Sunrise Children’s Hospital, MountainView Hospital, and Southern Hills Hospital, was able to gather 2,982 pounds of food as part of its annual Healthy Food for Healthier Tomorrows Food and Nutrition Drive, according to a release.
