LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A father, son and hiker were rescued in back-to-back operations out at Red Rock Thursday afternoon.
The two rescues happened around 2 p.m. when LVMPD Search and Rescue were notified of an injured hiker near Calico Tanks while conducting a training flight.
The hiker fell and sprained her ankle and was unable to get herself out of the area. Clark County Fire Department personnel were able to hike to the hiker and provide initial care. The hiker was then airlifted by AIR1 and was transported to a ground ambulance…
