LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas Metro police are investigating a deadly shooting after a homeowner told them an uninvited man entered his home.
The shooting was reported on Wednesday shortly before 11 a.m. in the 5200 block of Greene Lane near Hacienda Avenue and Maryland Parkway by the homeowner.
According to police, during the phone call, the homeowner told police he had just shot an intruder.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located the homeowner, who pointed them in the direction of his apartment. When officers entered the apartment, they found a man in his late-40s suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead…
