Las Vegas house fire leaves residents unharmed

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Clark County Fire Department crews responded early Sunday morning to reports of a possible house fire in the southwest Las Vegas valley.

Firefighters were called just after 8 a.m. to a single-family home on Cobden Court, near the 7700 block, after reports of smoke and the smell of something burning.

Engine 22 was the first unit on scene and found heavy smoke inside the home. Additional resources were requested to check for any hidden fire in the wall and ceiling spaces.

Firefighters completed both primary and secondary searches of the home and determined the fire originated from an air handling unit located in the garage…
