Dispute over gravy leads to stabbing at Las Vegas KFC

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KLAS) — A man allegedly stabbed a KFC employee after getting upset over the gravy in his order, according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained.

Gerald Carter, 32, and James Carter, 48, face charges of attempted murder with a deadly weapon, records said.

On Saturday, Dec. 27, North Las Vegas police officers responded to the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) on Craig Road near Martin Luther King Boulevard for a report of a customer who stabbed an employee, documents said. Gerald Carter is accused of stabbing the employee “in the back and side several times.”

Officers located the two men and several other people walking away from the restaurant and detained them. While arresting Gerald Carter, officers located a large knife in his pocket, they said…
