2 arrested after homeless people robbed in vacant Las Vegas building

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two suspects have been arrested for allegedly robbing victims inside a vacant building near Boulder Highway and E. Flamingo Road early Tuesday morning, according to police.

The robbery happened around 3 a.m. in the 4800 block of Boulder Highway. Metro police said the victims who were robbed were homeless individuals.

Later in the morning, Metro announced the incident had developed into a barricade. SWAT and crisis negotiators responded to the abandoned business.
