Grieving family member finds strength in Las Vegas community after deadly hit-and-run

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The grieving family member of a woman who was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash on New Year’s Day tells News 3 she has been touched by the Las Vegas community, who has helped her connect with her deceased cousin’s lost dog as she works to make sense of her recent loss.

“I have been really taken aback by how gracious the people of Vegas have been,” said Erika McCoy.
