Suspect in machete attack faces new charges after worker’s death

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The man accused of attacking two men with a machete made his first appearance in court Monday morning.

Las Vegas Metro Police have identified Victor Vondrasek as the suspect in an attack on a deputy constable and a maintenance worker last week. The attack came as the constable was attempting to serve an eviction notice with the help of the maintenance worker.

Vondrasek injured both men with the machete, and was shot by the constable during the attack, police say. He appeared in court on Monday with a bandage on his cheek…
