LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man who shot former fiancée and her new boyfriend in a rental car lot was sentenced to 24 years to life after accepting a plea deal, according to court documents.

Frederick Blanche Jr., 38, shot Gina Martin, 36, and her boyfriend, Brian Marshall, on Aug. 3, 2024, after ambushing the two in a parking lot behind a car rental company on Sahara Avenue and Decatur Boulevard.
In December, Blanche agreed to plead guilty and serve the 24-year-to-life sentence, which Clark County District Court Judge Tierra Jones sentenced him to.
Martin, who had ended her year-long relationship with Blanche, died in the shooting attack, and Marshall suffered serious injuries. Martin, who had moved away from Las Vegas, had returned to celebrate her upcoming birthday.
