LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — From the flames, two cats and a snake were carried from a Las Vegas apartment fire, although the Beall family was relieved, the next battle came when the rent rose like thick smoke.
On Monday afternoon, Clark County Fire Crews responded to multiple reports of a fire at the Point Apartments near Flamingo Road and University Center Drive. Crews applied water from outside the building before making entry. The fire was contained to the second and third-floor units, according to CCFD.
The Beall family, whose apartment was devastated in the blaze, were in Texas when the fire was reported and said they were saddened to learn the family hamster died in the incident but grateful their other animals were saved.
