Las Vegas man accused of shooting at police tied to nearby business

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man accused of firing several rounds at Las Vegas Metro Police Officers last month is now connected to another shooting that happened weeks earlier in east Las Vegas.

Jarvis Williams, 30, is facing 13 charges related to the Dec. 17, 2025, police shooting, including attempted murder with the use of a deadly weapon, according to court records.

But before that shooting, Clark County prosecutors said video dated Dec. 4 shows Williams walking near a business around Sahara Avenue and Maryland Parkway. Minutes later, prosecutors said Williams was seen again, but this time firing a gun with a green laser into a business.

Clark County prosecutors made the revelation during a grand jury hearing this year on Jan. 15. According to court documents, Williams fired 15 rounds into the business and police were able to connect him to that shooting because of what happened on Dec. 17…
