LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A father who severely abused his children and put at least two of them in a dog cage will serve decades in prison.
In 2023, Las Vegas Metro police found six children home alone, while two of them were locked in a dog cage, the 8 News Now Investigators first reported. The oldest child was 11 at the time. Body camera video showed officers rescuing the children.
Last year, Travis Doss, 34, pleaded guilty to six counts of child abuse, with the stipulation that he serve 18 to 72 years in prison, documents said.
