17-year-old killed in east Las Vegas hit-and-run; RV driver charged with DUI

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 17-year-old boy was hit and killed by an RV driver who drove away after the crash Saturday night. Las Vegas police later arrested the driver for DUI.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a crash involving a pedestrian and an RV near Lake Mead Boulevard and Nellis Boulevard shortly before 6 p.m. on Feb. 7.

Police said evidence at the scene showed a 17-year-old boy was crossing Lake Mead Boulevard northbound in a marked crosswalk as a 1996 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Motor Home traveling east on Lake Mead approached the intersection…
