The incident unfolded just before 6 p.m. on Saturday near East Lake Mead Boulevard and North Lamont Street in northeast Las Vegas. A 17-year-old local boy walked lawfully in a designated crosswalk when a 1996 Fleetwood Pace Arrow RV struck him. The teenager died at the scene despite immediate response from emergency services.[1]

Police from the Metropolitan Police Department quickly identified the vehicle and its driver. The crash represented the 14th traffic fatality in their jurisdiction for 2026, underscoring persistent roadway risks in the region.
