LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Years before casino mogul Steve Wynn was forced out of the Las Vegas casino empire he built, agreeing in 2023 to a $10 million settlement over sexual misconduct allegations, his daughter was targeted in a kidnapping case that became one of the most infamous crimes in the city’s past.
On July 26, 1993, Kevyn Wynn, 26 at the time, had finished a routine day as an employee of retail operations at Mirage Resorts. She worked out at The Mirage gym and had dinner with her family. When she got home to her Spanish Trails home, two men were waiting for her. She was abducted at gunpoint.
