LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — City of Las Vegas crews started removing vehicles on Friday after repeated complaints of people living in abandoned RVs, trailers, and cars in an east Las Vegas neighborhood.
Residents told 8 News Now that while the cleanup is a step in the right direction, they’re still worried the issue isn’t completely solved.

“I am so happy when I saw that, I think that’s fabulous, as you can see what type of people they are, that’s awesome,” said neighbor Theresa Perez.
Perez added that she appreciated the progress but hoped the city would stay consistent to prevent the problem from returning.
