Pair get prison time for robbery, crash that killed Las Vegas WWII veteran

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Two women received their prison terms Wednesday for a robbery that led to a police chase and crash that killed a World War II veteran in Las Vegas.

Judge Michelle Leavitt sentenced Lorraine Alvarado to 14-40 years and Kassandra Alvarez to 10-30 years behind bars. The two reached a plea agreement in January.
