Brother defends woman arrested for leaving dog tied to baggage claim at Las Vegas airport

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The woman arrested for leaving her dog tied to the baggage claim at Reid Airport was not of sound judgment due to a disability she sustained in the armed forces, her brother told the 8 News Now Investigators in an exclusive interview this week.

Gerrayl Bryson of New Mexico said his sister, Germirah Bryson, 26, was leaving her home in Las Vegas to move in with relatives and that “her leaving her dog, who is her very best friend and she travels with him everywhere, is another sign of the severity and degradation of her condition.”

Bryson’s condition, her brother says, would make the situation that unfolded with police at the airport difficult for his sister to handle.
