Popular Las Vegas Rock Festival Cancelled for 2026

Popular rock festival, When We Were Young, which has previously featured big names like Blink-182, Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day, announced it will not host its Las Vegas concert for 2026. The event announced the cancellation in an Instagram post shared on Feb. 27, 2026 following speculation from fans.

“The songs, the memories, the moments-none of it exists without you,” said the post. “After an unforgettable run in Las Vegas, we’ve decided to take 2026 off to give this festival the care it deserves and to make sure what comes next feels just as special as what came before.”

Luckily for fans, this will just be a one-year hiatus, with the group immediately announcing plans for next year. “When We Were Young Festival will return to Las Vegas in October 2027,” they explained. “That you for showing up with your whole hearts every year. This isn’t goodbye. It’s just a pause.”

The festival first launched at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in 2022, headlined by My Chemical Romance and Paramore and featuring many alternative, pop punk, hardcore and emo bands, some of which hadn’t toured in years…
