Pedestrian hit by vehicle, taken to Las Vegas hospital with life-threatening injuries

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A pedestrian was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after they were hit by a vehicle in the central valley.

Shortly after 10:30 a.m., officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a collision in the area of Paradise and East Flamingo roads.

Police said that the collision involved a pedestrian and a vehicle. Metro said the medical personnel took the pedestrian to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, and police said impairment is not suspected at this time…
