Las Vegas is getting another place to caffeinate, with Dunkin set to open a next-generation shop at 2350 South Maryland Parkway this spring, according to the franchisees. The roughly 1,300-square-foot spot is expected to run daily from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. and bring about 18 local jobs, adding one more doughnut-and-coffee option to the brand’s growing valley lineup.
As reported by What Now Las Vegas, a city permit lists 2350 South Maryland Parkway as the address, and franchisees Eva Hosler and Frank Mason told the outlet in an email, “We’re very excited to bring a new Dunkin’ to the community and become part of our guests’ daily routines.” The outlet notes the space will be about 1,300 square feet, with the buildout expected to create roughly 18 jobs. The owners told the site they are targeting an April grand opening and plan to operate from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day once the doors are open.
What next-generation means
In its company materials, Dunkin’ traces its history to founder Bill Rosenberg, who launched the brand in 1950, and says it now runs more than 14,000 restaurants worldwide, per the Dunkin’ Newsroom. Recent Next Generation locations have featured sleeker interiors, digital ordering kiosks and upgraded beverage systems, details that local coverage has highlighted during similar openings. The idea is to move lines faster and make life easier for grab-and-go guests who want their coffee and breakfast with minimal lingering.
Where this fits locally
What Now Las Vegas notes the chain already has nearly 50 locations across Nevada, and the Maryland Parkway shop is intended to catch both neighborhood regulars and people passing through. The franchisees told the outlet they are aiming for a spring grand opening in April, continuing a recent streak of Dunkin openings across the region. With its compact footprint and set hours, this one looks tailored more to quick morning and midday pickups than lingering dine-in crowds.
Hiring appears to be underway. A Breakroom posting for the 2350 South Maryland Parkway address lists team member roles and pay estimates, indicating the franchise owner has started staffing up ahead of opening day. The listing notes that crew members work directly for the local franchise operator, who sets day-to-day wages and schedules…
