CCFD battles fire at vacant church in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County Fire Department and the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to a fire on the 2400 block of South Bruce Street near East Sahara Avenue around 2:25 p.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters arrived on the scene at a vacant church with a significant fire and smoke coming out of the church. According to CCFD, around 3:09 p.m., a portion of the church that collapsed was observed, and firefighters were taken out of the building.
