ATV driver killed after hitting cement barrier on I-15 outside Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 47-year-old man was killed earlier this month when his ATV failed to negotiate a curve and struck a cement barrier, ejecting him from the vehicle.

On March 5, Michael Montague of North Las Vegas was pronounced deceased after the single-vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Clark Petersen Boulevard, east of North Las Vegas Boulevard, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.

Evidence at the scene indicated a 2018 Can-Am Maverick X3 was traveling southbound on Clark Petersen Boulevard and failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The Can-Am left the roadway to the left and struck a cement barrier. The unrestrained driver was ejected from the vehicle and came to rest in the desert area east of the roadway…
