LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas woman was indicted for allegedly fraudulently obtaining more than $365,000 in payments from the Social Security Administration using her deceased grandmother’s name over 17 years.
According to court documents, Narda Yvonne Locklear allegedly improperly recieved and converted the benefit payments of her deceased grandmother starting in April 2009 through February 2026.

As a result of the fraud scheme, Locklear obtained more than $365,000 in Social Security payments.
Because the Social Security Administration was unaware of the grandmother’s death, it continued to deposit benefit payments into the bank account. Locklear allegedly possessed a debit card in her grandmother’s name that let her access the account…
