Lone Mountain hikers rescued after fall on east face above park

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two hikers were rescued from the east face of Lone Mountain on Thursday after they got stuck trying to climb up a gulley. One had fallen and received multiple abrasions, rescuers said.

After rescuers rappelled down to one hiker, one went further down to the injured hiker. The injured hiker was treated for minor injuries and raised up using a rope system to where the other hiker and a rescuer were located.
