CONYERS — A Georgia nonprofit dedicated to drowning prevention and water safety is expanding into Rockdale County, bringing a new headquarters, an indoor aquatic education center and plans to serve thousands of residents each week.
During public comment at the July 15 Rockdale County Board of Commissioners meeting, Swem School founder and CEO Trish Miller announced the organization has bought the former Badcock Furniture building on Iris Drive to serve as its permanent headquarters.
